About Ralt

A one-person studio building apps that solve real problems — no bloat, no subscriptions you forget about, no data harvesting.

Who we are

Ralt is founded by Raymond van der Velden, a developer based in the Netherlands. Every app in our portfolio started the same way: a personal itch that existing apps didn't scratch well enough.

We believe good software should feel invisible — it helps you do the thing you care about and gets out of the way. No onboarding quizzes, no gamification treadmills, no "premium tiers" that lock basic features behind a paywall.

What we build

Mobile apps that do one thing well. We pick problems that existing apps overcomplicate and build simple, focused alternatives. Apps that work offline, respect your data, and don't waste your time.

Our first app, Runner 10K, is a 14-week couch-to-10K trainer with voice coaching and live GPS. It stores everything on your phone and never phones home. More apps are on the way.

Our principles

Privacy by default. Your data stays on your device. We don't run analytics, sell data, or track behavior. If an app needs the network, we tell you exactly why.

Pay once, own it. No recurring subscriptions for simple tools. When we charge, it's a one-time purchase — fair for you, sustainable for us.

Ship small, ship often. We'd rather launch something focused and improve it based on real feedback than spend a year building features nobody asked for.
